DECP TEP Conference 2017

The DECP Annual Conference 2016 is preceded by our Trainee Education Psychologist (TEP) Event.
The DECP Trainee Educational Psychologists' Conference enables newly qualified EPs and those in training to disseminate their research findings.
The event provides a unique opportunity for trainee EPs to network and to develop their research expertise in a range of methodologies, as well as accessing the evolving evidence base for professional practice.

DECP Annual Conference 2017; Challenging Beliefs and Exposing Myths
Thursday 12 January 2017 - Friday 13 January 2017 at The Majestic Hotel, Harrogate
The conference aims to explore critical and community psychology in an age of austerity, and the evidence base for recent government educational decisions, and the impact that this is having on children, families and the community, as well as the staff that work in and support schools.
We are pleased to confirm the following keynote speakers:

- Dan Goodley - Psychologist, University of Sheffield
- Dr Halit Hulusi - Senior Educational Psychologist, Birmingham City Council
- Phil Raws - Researcher, The Children’s Society
