This autumn's DHP-Scotland postgraduate workshop is aimed at postgraduates with interests in health psychology wishing to develop basic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) knowledge and skills.

This autumn's DHP-Scotland postgraduate workshop is aimed at postgraduates with interests in health psychology wishing to develop basic Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) knowledge and skills. This workshop, facilitated by Pam Lanza, Dougie Marks and Ellen Townend (Health Psychologists and CBT Therapists) also aims to explore how to integrate CBT to help support people living with health conditions, specifically, around chronic pain, diabetes and heart conditions.

Learning Outcomes:

  1. The CBT model applied to physical health and health psychology
  2. Applying CBT to support people living with physical health conditions (Separate workshops) 
  3. CBT: Applications and challenges
