This workshop focuses on the importance of the Expert Report and the court’s expectations of the expert when writing that report.

FULLY BOOKED - see calendar

The Expert Witness Report is the foundation of Expert Witness work and a poorly written report may lead to questions about the Expert’s competence.

Attendees will learn how to prepare reports which are more valuable to the commissioning solicitor and the court as well as how to ensure that their work is defensible and less vulnerable to cross examination in the witness box.

The legal process as well as the formal requirements for structure of the report will also be discussed and clarified.

Target audience

This workshop is intended for HCPC registered practitioner psychologists or those towards the completion of their accredited training.

It is particularly suitable for those considering embarking on practice as an Expert Witness but will also be a useful refresher for those who may have found themselves unexpectedly taking on this role.

It is strongly recommended that you attend Part 1, 2 and 3 sequentially and before attending Part 4.
