This workshop aims to explore the potential psychological workforce needs dependent on a number of possible future scenarios and developments. E.g. Demographics, Brexit, technological advances, changes of funding within the NHS etc.
The workshop will ideally have contributors from a variety of backgrounds including applied psychologists, academics, service users and experts by experience.
The output from the workshops will be a report summarising factors relevant for the future needs for the psychological workforce in the long term future and identification of possible models for the delivery of psychological services. This will be used both internally to inform and influence developments in psychology training and externally to lobby for expansion of psychology posts and skills.
The workshop will appeal to anyone with an interest in or knowledge of psychology or workforce.
Some funding for travel expenses is available, please contact Hannah Farndon for further details.
Target Audience: anyone with an interest in psychology or workforce. There are limited places so registration is essential.
