Join fellow pre- and in-training peers at the 2017 DCP PQG Annual General Meeting CPD event.
This event is aimed at meeting the needs of people looking to apply for clinical training, using novel and interesting experiential and reflective activities as informed by systemic and narrative practices.
Delegates can expect some similar content and discussions to other DClinPsy preparation days, but can also expect much more in terms of how we can enrich our journey to training through discovering the resources within us and our communities.
Our members have previously raised concerns about the competitive nature of seeking a place on clinical training and through this event, we hope to realign such competitiveness towards a companionship in which pre-qualified members can assist and enable one another along their own unique adventures facing multiple paths to clinical training.
Those already on training may also wish to attend and may benefit from re-discovering their aspirations in becoming clinical psychologists, reflecting on what could be lost along the way, and how we work individually and collectively to rediscover our values and principles in working psychologically.
There will be a focus on peer-learning throughout and so delegates will be invited to participate in our collective retelling of training and routes to clinical training.
Please see the programme tab for further information.
