This workshop reminds us of how supervisors and supervisees develop and how our approach to supervision should be adapted accordingly.
Consideration is given to how to manage situations where things may not be going as they should be or where there are ethical issues to be worked with, and the responsibilities of the supervisor may need to be defined.
These areas are rarely black and white and require careful consideration, consultation and supervision.

This is the second of a series of four workshops to facilitate supervisors, or would-be supervisors, to develop, reflect on and refine their own personal practice, tailored to their approach, the context in which they work, and their client group/s.
Completion of this series of four workshops confers eligibility to apply for entry onto the Society's Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) via the approved training route. The register is designed to recognise psychologists with special expertise in supervision.
A full list of workshop dates can be found here.
The workshops are spread out to allow delegates time for reflection and practice, and should be attended sequentially. Feedback from previous delegates has stressed how valuable this course has been for their development as supervisors, and as supervisees.
