This workshop evolved to provide ongoing support for those working as supervisors by providing an open, peer group development forum.
Delegates bring their own agendas for further exploration in supervision in groups and then are given the opportunity to practice the model of peer group supervision taught in Day 3.
In the interests of Continuing Professional Development and enhancing our supervision practice, it is essential that we have someone else look at our work as supervisors regardless of our stage of development, experience or qualification.
The opportunities for this are often limited, however being supervised by others who have completed the same training allows for further consolidation of previous learning and application.
A requirement for Day 4 attendance is participation in the previous workshops and it is advisable to attend after a period of practical application.
Supervisors are encouraged to attend this day of the course as often as they require to satisfy the need for supervision of their own practice as supervisors.

This is the fourth of a series of four workshops to facilitate supervisors, or would-be supervisors, to develop, reflect on and refine their own personal practice, tailored to their approach, the context in which they work, and their client group/s.
Completion of this series of four workshops confers eligibility to apply for entry onto the Society's Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS) via the approved training route. The register is designed to recognise psychologists with special expertise in supervision.
Attendance at workshop 3 is mandatory before attending day 4.
A full list of workshop dates can be found here.
The workshops are spread out to allow delegates time for reflection and practice, and should be attended sequentially.
Please allow enough time between workshops for reflection and practice. Feedback from previous delegates has stressed how valuable this course has been for their development as supervisors, and as supervisees.
