Changing behaviour: responsible alcohol consumption

Excessive alcohol consumption is an ongoing societal problem. Effective and sustained alcohol-related behaviour change requires a multi-pronged approach that includes public health campaigns, minimum unit pricing and individual level behaviour change interventions.

The attached document lays out the background and evidence behind the phenomenon of excessive alcohol consumption, as well as a number of recommendations for psychological interventions and policy changes/approaches designed to tackle the problem.
