Could you bring psychology to Westminster?

The Society and the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) are offering a three-month secondment to a postgraduate student.

The recipient assist in producing a briefing on a psychological topic.

This award is open to postgraduate students registered for a doctoral degree in a psychology-related subject. Applicants must be in their penultimate or final year of full-time or part-time study at the start of their placement in 2017/18.

Applicants must be a member of the British Psychological Society.

When applying, you will be asked to produce a concise summary of an aspect of psychological research you consider relevant to public policy, including an explanation of why parliamentarians should be interested in the topic.

POST is an office of the two houses of parliament charged with providing balance and objective analysis of issues in science and technology that are relevant to parliament.
