Voting is now open for the roles of President-Elect and Elected Trustee.
Voting is now open in this year’s elections, with two of the most senior elected posts within the society on the ballot paper.
If you've not had the chance to do so yet, take a moment to familiarise yourself with the nominee statements and short videos from our five candidates across the two positions.
Joanna North and Jimmy Petruzzi have been nominated for the society’s next President-Elect, and Julia Faulconbridge, Dejan Hrcan and Mia Pal have been nominated for the new Elected Trustee role.
How to vote
Voting is open until 12pm on 15 July for BPS members eligible to vote.
Voting in BPS elections is via an online system so please watch out for an email from our elections partner, Mi-Voice, who are an independent organisation supporting the BPS with this process.
This email will contain your unique voter code which you’ll need to cast your vote.
If you don’t have an email address registered with the BPS, or if we’ve had difficulty contacting you by email previously, you will receive a postal ballot instead.

The successful candidate will be announced at our Annual General Meeting in Leicester at 5pm on 27 July.
The President-Elect’s role is to support the President of the BPS while preparing to assume the position of President once the sitting President’s term comes to an end. The President-Elect is also a member of the Board of Trustees.
There are two candidates for the role of President Elect:
The role of Elected Trustee is a new trustee role under the society’s proposed new Charter and Statutes. Trustees are responsible for overseeing the running of the British Psychological Society.
Trustees provide independent insight and challenge to the society’s management and staff, with the intention of ensuring that the society is well-led, well-run, and delivers maximum value for members and impact in line with the society’s Royal Charter.
