Renowned music producer James Hawkins is a leading voice in championing how music can change lives and improve physical and mental health, from creating and producing the Cystic Fibrosis Virtual Choir and the UK Hospices Choir to Voices for Missing (formerly the Missing People Choir). Voices for Missing, a group of people who have experienced the disappearance of a loved one, reached millions with their message of hope after loss when they reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2017, the publicity around which directly brought two people home. James has worked with some of the UK’s best loved artists including Rick Astley, Paul Carrack, Michelle McManus, Chesney Hawkes, BA Robertson and Carol Decker, and has just completed upcoming acoustic artist Astrid Brook’s second album.
James has worked with many different companies, organisations and charities, to bring a meaningful idea or cause to greater public awareness. Where teams and groups have met with trauma or challenge, he has enlisted the creative power of music to help rebuild and reconnect individuals with renewed strength around their shared meanings and purpose.
