Chair 

Sian Williams is a journalist and broadcaster, who’s coming to the end of a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology. Her research is on cancer, rumination and self-compassion after a mindfulness based intervention. She’s been working in the NHS with acute cancer patients, is an Associate at King’s College, and has just published a paper on recovery after trauma. Sian has written a book which details her own recovery after breast cancer. She is also a Graduate Member of the BPS and a registered member of the BACP.
