14 July 2020, 14:00-16:00 BST (Online)
This session is an opportunity to learn about how marketing principles can be applied to a sport and exercise psychology business. Following a very successful previous DSEP event on this topic, we are delighted to welcome back Dr. Paul Cook as part of our joint DSEP and BASES series of CPD webinars. Paul will explore the strategies that you can employ to market yourself / your product.
We will start with generic marketing principles, and work towards enabling you to address your individual needs. Although we will critically evaluate marketing theory, we do this in relation to practice; exploring topics such as differentiation, branding, the marketing mix, and the effective use of promotional tools. Working with the tutor and your peers, you will have the opportunity to consider your own and your client’s needs, and begin to formulate a marketing plan to address those specific needs.
At the end of this session, you will have a marketing aim, and a number of strategies to help you to achieve it.
