This event is for psychologists working in palliative and end of life care, and will cover:

  • What are the real world ethical challenges faced in psychological services in palliative and end of life care
  • How do these challenges fit with those faced by the wider MDT?
  • What are the implications for debates around assisted dying for psychological care

The session will combine presentations from Guy Schofield, researcher and palliative medicine doctor, and Paul Beadon, Consultant Psychologist in Palliative Care, with smaller group discussions to enable colleagues to share and reflect on dilemmas they face.
