The webinar will include an overview of a recent pilot study that explore the nature of self and transpersonal experiences with children and young people.

The focus will be on how children and young people demonstrated different aspects of self when sharing transpersonal experiences; and the types of experiences the have.

Different disciplines are discussed (consciousness studies, philosophy and social science) in the context of developing a more meaningful framework from which to understand children's experiences.

The creative and innovative research methods used in the study will be discussed and attendees will gain an understanding of participatory research approaches with children and young people.

There is an interactive element to the webinar and attendees will engage with some of the methods used with children and young people in the study.
