Enhance your clinical practice through a workshop focussed on behaviour modification interventions for treating ADHD and Autism Spectrum.

Individuals with the diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity/Impulsivity Disorder and/or Autism Spectrum Disorders often don't respond to psychodynamic or standard CBT.

They frequently fall between the gaps and either become dejected with the system of help or come back through the revolving doors over a number of years.

If assessed and diagnosed appropriately, the enhanced behaviour modification model within the framework of CBT has recently provided evidence towards better outcomes.

The workshop will be in two parts. The first part of the workshop will focus dissemination of information on the nature of ADHD and ASD. The second part of the workshop will focus on the behaviour modification dimensions and applying interventions for the treatment of ADHD and ASD.

Target audience

This workshop is suitable for trainee or experienced clinical, counselling or forensic psychologists who possess a working knowledge of cognitive behavioural therapy.

CBT therapists would also find this workshop suitable.

Pre-work

Participants are encouraged to identify cases that belong to the neuro-developmental spectrum.
