Our new look Conference 2020 will be hosted over two days by Radio 4 presenter Claudia Hammond and include a special outside recording of her popular show All in the Mind.

Registration is open for BPS Conference 2020 taking place from 30 June to 1 July at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.

Join us and enjoy two days exploring the future of psychological research and practice with compere BBC Radio presenter Claudia Hammond.

We know psychology is proving more relevant in meeting the challenges of the new decade. Our conference is going to push the boundaries of that 2020 vision – are we seeing the challenges ahead clearly? And are we ready?

To complement our futuristic focus we have three amazing speakers and a special outside recording of Radio 4’s All in the Mind with our compere, Claudia Hammond.

Claudia said: “"Delighted to have been asked to host the conference and to see that some really big themes are being tackled. The world is facing a lot of challenges and it's great to see psychology making a contribution."

Our speakers are:

Professor Miranda Wolpert OBE will share her insights on the best ways to meet children and young people’s mental health needs. As the current head of the Wellcome Trust’s mental health priority area Professor Wolpert brings diverse groups together to develop a common understanding and secure foundations for the emerging science of mental health.
