Psychology of Women & Equalities Section meet in Windsor

11 July 2018

POWES are holding their 2018 annual conference at Cumberland Lodge, an educational charity and unique conference centre in the heart of the Great Park, Windsor.

Building on the success of their 30th anniversary conference last year and a successful name change ballot from Psychology of Women Section to the Psychology of Women and Equalities Section (POWES) the 2018 POWES conference will showcase feminist scholarship in a collegiate and friendly environment and welcomes anyone interested in research on gender and sexuality related topics.

The conference begins today and will run until Friday.  There is a broad overarching theme of 'equalities' tying together keynotes and papers.

Keynote speakers include Professor Jayne Raisborough from Leeds Beckett University and Professor Kathering Runswick-Cole from the University of Sheffield.
