The British Psychological Society’s Research Board is looking to appoint members to two voluntary positions.
The first position is for a responsibility holder for animal welfare in psychology. This role will lead on issues relating to animal welfare in psychology within the context of the three principles of replacement, reduction and refinement.
They will serve on the Research Board and Ethics Committee and be responsible for the development of BPS policy and guidelines and working with partner organisations in this area.}

The second role is for an early career psychologist (within eight years of the award of PhD or doctoral qualification) to represent this cohort on the board. The term of office is for one year, renewable for a further two years.
